| The remote monitoring device of workshop equipment is the basic and key foundation of the E-Manufacturing network. It is an important development trend that using efficient and low-cost embedded technology to accomplish the development of Ethernet remote monitoring system. Based on the requirement of the modern manufacturing enterprise of network and information technology, this thesis studies the design and implementation of the embedded Ethernet technology in a remote monitoring system of the workshop equipment. Superior performance of data acquisition and control function can be realized by using this system. Managers can get rich and visual data, achieve equipment monitoring remotely.At first, this thesis introduces embedded Ethernet technology and its current application status. Based on the actual functional requirement of workshop equipment monitoring, it proposes a monitor and control network architecture based on embedded Ethernet technology. And also, it proposes the design project of the whole system of remote monitoring device and the hardware and software of functional modules. By access to the internal network, workshop equipment status information is sent to the enterprise database. Technologists and managers can query the usage of all kinds of equipment in the database.Then, this thesis describes in detail the design process and the specific implementation of the remote monitoring network communication module which is the most important part of this system. The module can get the working status of the workshop equipment by serial port or I/O signal. The status information is sent to the host PC via Ethernet ports. The NC programs sent by monitoring PC can be transmitted to the equipment through the serial port.In the end, a functional test of the communication module is designed and finished to prove the validity of the system. The data processing mechanism of the host computer program are introduced and tested. The result shows that the system possesses the basic function of embedded data acquisition server at a high speed. The thesis has positive practical application value of the development of remote monitoring system and the spread of embedded Ethernet technology. |
