TFT-LCD is abbreviation for thin film transistor liquid crystal display.Flicker is an important indicator to measure the performance of TFT-LCD.TFT-LCD factory in the production process, will be to flicker measurementand debugging of every piece of product, to ensure that the factory’sproducts to meet customer requirements. At present industry of flicker testmainly by optical test equipment CA-210, but the CA-210device cost istoo high, make the production costs are too high, so you need a low costand can meet the test requirements of testing tools.Flicker, there are two kinds of calculation methods, one is thecomparative method; one is JEITA method. Through comparing the twomethods, the CA-210probe need to pass to the collected signals, theCA-210host after analysis and then by integrating instrument and FFTanalyzer to get JEITA value, and the results of contrast method can bedirectly by CA-210probe via the host to the collected signals. From a costpoint of view, this solution uses contrast method. Through analyze theimplementation principle of CA-210, this solution uses optical sensors onthe light signal is collected, converted to electrical signals, signals areamplified processing, through the MCU internal A/D conversion module,realize the transition of the analog signal to digital signal, and the collecteddigital signal using the calculation formula of contrast method isprocessing, flicker test results are obtained. Finally through visual displaymodule to achieve results.Through the theoretical feasibility analysis was carried out after thetrial production of the sample. Trial production samples after debugging ofhardware and software, the realization of the normal work. ComparesSample of test results and the flicker of CA-210test results, test resultschange curve was consistent with the CA-210, the test accuracy is within the scope of the CA-210test precision, determines the solution cancompletely replace the CA-210to complete the factory production testingneeds. After a preliminary budget, the cost of this solution is only1/400ofthe CA-210. To achieve the design goals.
