Abstract/Summary:
Android is an operating system platform which is designed specifically for mobiledevice. With excellent stability, portability and openness,it occupied most of the mobileelectronic device market rapidly.With the development of embedded hardware technology,as well as the customers’ increasing demand for the operating system function, Androidsystem has a very promising future in the embedded technology field.On the basis ofAndroid system analysis,the paper proposes the subject of transplanting the Android systemto S5PV210experimental board which is based on Cortex-A8structure, aims to achieve astable available platform and apply it to low-end consumer electronics market.Firstly, the overall structure of Android system is described in detail, and the methodsto get the source code of Android kernel and system are given. On this basis, the integratedplanning of Android system transplantation is proposed, the hardware and software requiredby system transplantation is introduced as well. In the first stage of the overall plan, theAndroid system’s boot process according to the S5PV210experiment board is researchedparticularly,and the flow charts of boot process are given in detail.In additional,theentrance program start.S of U-boot is modified to fit the experimental hardware platform. Inthe second phase,the method to config and transplant the Android kernel version3.4isproposed.Based on the driving principle research of LCD and USB Wi-Fi, thetransplantation methods are given.Meanwhile,the transplantation of independent key driveris realized.In the third stage, the customization and transplantation of Android file system isachieved according to the configuration of the experiment board.The method of usingmkyaffs2image to make root file system is also put forward in this stage. The fourth stage ismainly to the integrated testing of the transplantation system,including the kernel andsystem testing, LCD and USB Wifi functional testing etc. Through the integration testing,the system hardware and software of terminal system which is realizated in this paper hasgood performance and stable operation, it proves the success of transplantation and verifythe feasibility to use in the low-end consumer market.
