In this thesis, the so-called J2ME technology, whose full name is the Java2Micro Edition, is used to design and implement real-time transmission ofinformation media mobile terminals and storage system. After the beginning of thiscentury, the development of this technology in the field of mobile communicationsis very rapid, especially widely used in electronic commodities. Currently,consumers have clear expectations that, ordinary electronic products is difficult tomeet consumer demand, no matter it is the used in mobile phones, set-top boxes, orspecial equipment. Even to the traditional stand-alone device, reliability, ease ofuse, personalization, and network awareness have become an increasingly importantfeature. As the basic platform to support these devices, Java ME fully meet therequirements, because of its small size, highly portable and powerful. Of intelligentdevices, providing a revolutionary diverse solutions and its "Write Once, runanywhere" Java feature and improve development efficiency.This thesis is based on the technology whitch developed specifically for mobilephones. This program, is designed for achieving real-time transmission and storingmedia information.In this paper, this design implements four modules: Mediaresource acquisition module, a media resource editing module, a media resourceupload module, a media resource storage module. In media information uploadprocess, improved LZW compression algorithm for media information, improve thecompression rate, reduce the bandwidth and traffic, improve network transmissionrate. Real-time transmission of information in the media, is designed andimplemented to automatically adjust the "heartbeat" of the heartbeat packet, timelydetection of network connection status, Ensure the timeliness and validity of thedata.This system has been put in practical use in the company’s internal research,and the paper has important practical value to the urgent requirement that mobileterminal users store large quantities of network information and data, as well asimages, audio, video and other media resources sharing.
