But in the other hand, it makes a lot of livelihood problem.Parking is gradually becoming a tough problem in cities’ transportation.Although many traffic management departments of major cities have putincreasing emphasis on the issue, while also have improved road and parkingenvironment. However, due to imperfect sharing based on wide range parkinginformation, we still have to spend a lot of time and effort in looking for parkingspaces which will inevitably increase traffic congestion for urban municipalroads and waste driver’s valid driving time. This paper proposes an IntelligentParking Guidance System (IPGS) which can initially solve this problem. IPGSbelongs to the scope of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and its mainlyapplies computer technology, multimedia communication technology as well assome modern intelligent communication technologies. In addition, it contains aGPS vehicle positioning and database theory.With the development of Internet of Things, information transmission ofIPGS will be based on a wireless network. Its main characteristics are hightransmission speed, reliability and security. Networking technology usesdatabase technology to compute the best parking place based on parameters suchas vehicle information provided by the car itself. This fully reflects user-friendlydesign feature of the IPGS. Therefore, the design of IPGS is a social problemwhich needs to be solved at present and also it will be the future direction of thedevelopment for ITS. |
