Frequency hopping (FH) spread spectrum communication is anti-jammingcommunication technology developed in the20th century60. It has been used widely withanti-jamming and multiple access capabilities. However, with the rapid development ofsignal processing technology, the communication quality can’t be guaranteed by FHbecause its channel can be determined and be jammed by the jammer in a short time.The real-time link quality analysis is introduced in adaptive frequency hopping (AFH)communication technology. On the basis of the link quality, the anti-jamming ability isimproved because of the jamming channel is packed out by adaptive frequency control onone hand; on the other hand, intercept resistance of the system is improved because of thesignal transmission power is reduced by adaptive power control as much as possible. Thispaper mainly does the following work:(1) Aiming at the shortage of conventional FH communication, based on introducingthe principle of FH, the AFH system model is built real-time link quality analysis, then themathematical principle and communication process of AFH is researched.(2) The simulation model of AFH is built with MATLAB software, and a simulationabout the ability of the AFH has been carried. Results show that the AFH has betteranti-jamming ability than conventional FH.(3) Combined with the development of the fast FH, a real-time link quality analysisbased on SNR is proposed. Then adaptive frequency control and adaptive control method isstudied based on it, better to improve the ability of anti-jamming and resist capture.
