Research On AODV Routing Protocols In Mobile Ad Hoc Network

Mobile Ad hoc network is a kind of wireless self-organizing network, is composed of a set of mobile terminals with wireless transceiver jump more than a temporary autonomous system, every terminal is both a host and a router. Because of mobile Ad hoc network does not need to be fixed network infrastructure, network flexibility, so widely used in military communications, emergency rescue and wireless sensor network (WSN), etc.AODV routing protocol is a kind of typical Ad hoc network on-demand routing protocol, the routing overhead low, implementation is simple and has good expansibility, so has been the focus of the routing protocol in the research. But the AODV routing protocol in the selected route, only the hop count as a metric, without considering the other factors influencing the network performance, so the agreement path is too single, individual network node energy consumption quickly. Against the above, in this paper, the original AODV routing protocol is improved, considering the impact and the overall performance of the network load, designed a routing cost function M. By reference to the size of the M value to select the appropriate route, not only optimize the destination node routing mechanism, but also optimizes the intermediate node forwarding mechanism. Through the simulation experiments show that the improved protocol compared with the original AODV protocol, prolong the network lifetime, improve the network throughput.
