| For wind power plants, solar hot water projects, solar power systems, ground source heat pump hot water projects and other application of renewable energyengineering. However, they all have some shortcomings, such as wide equipment distribution range, high working environment requirements, high requirement forenvironmental conditions and high maintenance cost. Therefore it is desirable to realize the centralized control and management, and the key to achieve this goal is that all risk factors are timely converged on the control and management center, such as equipment working condition, parameters and data.In traditional industrial measurement and control network, the RS-485or CAN bus cable network are mainly adopted, obviously this network mode is difficult to meet the demand of the measurement and control of renewable energy application engineering.Since Zigbee has characteristics of low power and cost, short time delay, good security and reliable, large capacity of the network and flexible working band, especially its self-organizing network function can overcome deficiencies of coverage of wireless digital way, which are suitable for renewable energy systems to control and manage wireless network intensively. This paper analyzes the requirements and characteristics of control and management of renewable energy projects, and proposes wireless measurement and control network scheme to satisfy renewable energy application engineering. We also carry out the work of ZigBee networking method, network nodes measurement and control and network coordinator development. Final, network nodes designed in this paper are used to organize ZigBee network having ability of self-organizing, and it are tested in the actual application of renewable energy projects. Results of testing show that our design can meet the need of practical application fundamentally.Finally, we summarize the work of this paper and prospect the follow-up work. |
