| In recent years, with the development of IT, digital access technology and net work communications technology, the information recording, transfer and access mode have been deeply changed. As a new recording media for emerging knowledge, the e-book flourished gradually by the popularity of digital reading. With the change of countrymen reading model, the function of library reading model also has been repositioned. As the exchange center of regional info&culture service organization, provincial level public library should keep the trend of the time and provide the readers with convenient and extensive access of e-reading service, In order to provide the public with optimized e-reading service cultivate the good e-reading habit and satisfy the demand for e-reading, the thesis made an actual survey of e-reading of internal provincial level public library to analyze the deficiency at present. At the same time, the thesis made a survey on the masses usage of public library e-book service to discuss the necessity to optimize the e-book service of provincial level library. On the basis of the analyses, the thesis proposed the e-book service optimization objective of provincial level library and elaborated the optimization strategy in detail to popularize the e-reading service to satisfy the diverse demand of the public. The thesis pointed out that unified standard of e-book format, copyright protection and reservation difficulty were the challenge of provincial level public library e-book service in the future. Finally, the thesis put forward corresponding optimization countermeasures for the future development of provincial level public library. |
