Design And Implementation Of Educational Management System

The rapid development of modern society, the popularization of computer, the expansion of network coverage, the increase of network speed and the simplification of the operating system lay a good foundation for the design and implementation of university educational management system. It is the inevitable trend to realize the paperless, systematic, efficient and technical university educational management. The simplification of network operating system and the quality improving of the educational administration personnel pave way for the popularity of educational management system in universities. Based on the educational management work of Hetao College, this educational management system which is designed has the simple, scientific, rational and efficient characteristics, managing to achieve the goal of improving educational workers’efficiency.Based on campus network and Windows system, adopting B/S structure mode, choosing SQL Server database and the Microsoft Visual Basic language, this paper attempts to design the database and system interface. The need and the feasibility of the system designing are analyzed in the paper, and the function of the system is divided into six subsystems:system maintenance, teacher management, student management, teaching plan management, achievement management and graduate management. A detailed instruction to each subsystem is provided. Furthermore, the paper makes an introduction to the system structure design and database design, giving the E-R relationship diagram and data tables of various subsystems. On this basis, this paper implements the system login and the six subsystems. At last, the test of the system is completed.
