Design And Implementation Of Smart Campus Intelligent Security And Comprehensive Management System

In recent years, many local governments have promulgated systematic policies of "Safe Campus" and related powerful measures. Project "Safe Campus" is being carried out to reinforce the safety issue, showing the education department’s high priority on the campus safety. With the increasing number of admitted students and area of campus apartment, the difference between campus and societies is reducing day by day. This situation creates the complexity of campus environment which brings more pressure to the campus security. Under such circumstance, many colleges or universities try to build digital security system, however the parallel management of multiple security systems is not only wasting human source and money but also failing the standard of in-time communication. These reasons explain the most urgent requirement of intelligent and systematic security management system.Aiming at fitting the multiple-security-systems environment and the need of different kinds of school staff, this system is an intelligent and systematic security management system. This thesis briefly introduces the former professional security systems, then analyses the current situation and the tendency of campus security. The implementation of the whole system is divided into three parts. First of all, it analyses the urgent need of different kinds of school staff, then compares with the former security management system to clarify the system’s need and the corresponding design requirements. Secondly, it presents the working process of the system, the framework design and the detailed modules’design. Finally, it describes the key modules, their development, and the integrated testing. Compared to other system, this security management system fully achieves its function as a security system. This system pays more attention on the intelligence and system of management, while other systems only treat management as an additional feature.
