| With the rapid development of mobile communication, the energy consumption of the communication industry is also increasing rapidly. Green communications and energy conservation has become a consensus of the whole industry. The research and application of energy-saving technologies for mobile communications is of great significance. This dissertation focuses on studying a set of QoS based energy-saving strategy of network layer in LTE system. The strategy is on the basis of the existing energy-saving technologies and the network architecture.This paper first introduces the background of energy saving in mobile communication. And then Chapter2investigates the existing energy-saving technologies. Chapter3discusses the basic architecture of LTE, and summarizes the point of LTE system with energy-saving technologies.Chapter4puts forward a set of network layer energy conservation strategy, which is controlled by gateway and coordinated by base station. In order to provide feasible energy saving solutions for a variety of business scenarios, the corresponding algorithms, such as load distribution algorithm, scheduling algorithm with QoS guaranteed, resource allocation algorithm of multi-cell, resource shutdown algorithm, are designed in this chapter.In Chapter5, the simulation system, including network topology, the wireless channel, traffic generation models and other parts, is described. Chapter6uses the simulation system to verify the algorithms, and analysis of the application scenarios of different algorithms is summarized. Through simulation, the scheme designed by this paper can effectively guarantee the QoS and bring significant energy saving effect for LTE systems. |
