Research And Development Of Rural Information Component Library Based On Web Service

Rural information is a concept relative to information in the other areas of economic society. As we are now in a stage of rural urbanization, governments at all levels attach great importance to the instruction of rural information, regarding it as the key solution to solve problems facing agriculture, rural areas and farmers. The governments have invested in a series of projects related to rural information construction in recent years, and rural information systems have been put into use in most rural areas, especially those in developed regions. However, there are some common problems among these systems: single function, system discreteness and unable to share information. As a result, combining different rural information systems together to integrate the systems and share information as providing rural residents a system with a single entry that features more functions and services have been the most important issues in the construction of rural information systems. Among the many system integration technologies. SOA has been proved to be the most effective integration solutions. This paper attempts to establish an information sharing platform between the already running rural information application systems and the integrated service systems based on Web Service technology, the paper also proposes a common, compatible and available integrated rural information service system construction program.This paper selects rural health records and social security as the research objects to build component library. Health records system and social security system are two important parts of rural information systems. Both of them use the traditional two-tier or three-tire architecture which has tight coupling between tiers, and thus result the expansibility difficulty of the system. Besides,.as there are no uniform data standards, data heterogeneity exists in these two systems.The main research contents in this paper include:This paper first analyzes and summarizes the current development and application of present rural information systems, and then proposes that using library component to build information integrated service system, which is a practical approach to solve the problems of single function, system discretion and information sharing. Some technologies used in this research, such as middle ware, Web Service, SSO are also introduced.Secondly, the paper analyzes the demand of the rural information component library and develops one accordingly. Based on the standard issued by China’s Ministry of health in2009, the paper makes an analysis of the data storage formats and the functions of the rural health records, and then develops an HIS component that combines the functions of personal health records management, family health records management and community profiles management based on Web Service technology. In addition, this paper also sums up the types of insurance that rural residents can participate in based on the analysis of national social security system, puts forward to using the database technology to deal, convert and integrate data. The demand on single entry component is analyzed here as well and the function is realized.Thirdly, modules of the rural information integrated system and a system that has single entry and in which users are able to access health records from different information systems and data in different security sub-systems are designed based on the above analysis.Finally, the paper selects rural information systems of changshu city, baoying city and wujiang city in Jiangsu province as the basic platform, and builds the integrated system that can access the data from these three regions. Then the system is tested using the data collected from the local rural residents in these three regions. The results show the component library has SSO, unified access, and data sharing functions.This paper is just a primary attempt to realize the rural information integrated system using component library. Therefore it has only achieved partial functions of the HIS, social security system and SSO system. Rural information application system also contains many other objects, so the component library still need to be expanded and the availability of the system also needs further testing.
