So far the basic cleaning method is by manual work which exits potential safety risk.Going down to the well will threat workers’life and health. This method also has poorefficiency. This task presents a design proposal of mechanical arms for sewage wellcleaning. By the application of the telescopic arms with rigid connection, it is more easy tocontrol and locate precisely when grasping objective under the well, and more convenientto clean the objective like the broken sewage well cover and curb bricks. It has significantmeaning for reducing the potential safety risk of workers and improving the efficiency ofthe sewage well cleaning work.The main works are consisted by the five parts:1Introduce the work environment of the sewage well and the prensent cleaningtechnology domestic and overseas, analyzing the shortage of the domestic sewage wellcleaning technology;2Present a design proposal of a kind of sewage well cleaning mechanical armbasing on the present sewage well working situation, calculate the motion space thisproposal, design the general structure of the mechanical arm, solve the kinematicequation and analyze the work process3Detailed design the main telescopic arm, small telescopic arm’s structure andthe specific size, then model the whole mechanical arm by the use of UG NX6.0;4From the above four parts, we can get the key part’s loads, the models. Then usethe Nastran in the UG NX6.0do finite analysis and optimize the structure;5Design the images collecting system based on embedded LINUX system andS3C2410.By the research of the sewage well mechanical arm, we present an operable design ofthe sewage well cleaning.
