Wireless sensor network is a new network of sensor nodes, aggregation nodesand management nodes. It has the features of low cost, low power, multi-functional,strong survivability and rapid deployment. It also includes wireless communicationtechnology, data integration and management technology, embedded operating systemtechnology and electronic technology as a low-power. All of these make it haveincreasingly broad application areas. It is widely used in environmental monitoringand forecasting, military field, smart home, medical and health care systems, urbanintelligent transportation, forest fire, precision agriculture, space exploration, as wellas airports, large industrial parks in areas such as security monitoring.Wireless sensor network research focuses on aspects of network topology control, routing protocols, network security, clock synchronization, node localization, datafusion, and parallel processing. Mobile wireless sensor networks are developed inwireless sensor networks based on the study which mobile wireless sensor networkrouting technology demand is one of the key technologies of wireless sensor networkresearch in the field of communications and computer field has become a researchhotspot.Firstly, the basics of wireless sensor networks are classified overview and thekey features of the wireless sensor network, and relevant content for wireless sensornetwork routing protocol for a detailed overview are introduced. Then we focus on theon-demand routing technology in mobile wireless sensor network model, and discussthe existing classification of the typical on-demand routing protocol performanceunder different network environments in the mobile wireless sensor networks for atypical on-demand routing protocols and give a comprehensive evaluation. Finally, onthe basis of the traditional on-demand routing proposed two new algorithms, the maincontents are as follows:(1) As for query processing within the network to provide highly efficient datarouting studies or sub-queries to a specific node, we have introduced an on-demandrouting for wireless sensor networks Ripple Routing algorithm. Ripple Routing implements a three-stage route discovery mechanism and the routing mechanism caneffectively check the data or sub-routed to the specified node. Besides, the technologyhas brought in the “ripples” in order to limit the spread of the range of route discoverymessages. The route discovery is an exploratory process, and only when the routediscovery is not successful it will expand the scope of “ripple” in an incremental wayand find the route target distance farther to reduce the consumption of informationbetween nodes route discovery.(2) In order to avoid the shortage of broadcasting routing in two nodes searchingfar between routing messages and provide more efficient on-demand routing based onsupport for mobile wireless sensor network in a multi-hop unicast data transmission,we introduced a mobile wireless sensor network on-demand source routing of LadderRouting algorithm. Ladder Routing is a mobile wireless sensor network which canrespond to demand source routing requests of any query processing nodes to establisha multi-hop data transmission path optimization between nodes and Sink nodedesignated by unicast process. The technology performs in parallel in each of themobile wireless sensor network nodes and can improve the robustness of the routingprotocol and path discovery rate. It uses less and less multi-hop message transmissionroute discovery delay, find and maintain the current network topology correspondingto latest adaptation routing, and ultimately achieve the target of reducing messageconsumption and time delay of route discovery and multi-hop data transmission. Finally, the full text of this article is a summary and outlook. Basing onsummarizing the research on some main work and innovation, the work and the nextstep in the direction of research is prospected.
