Through the comprehensive research of experts and scholars on the existing fault diagnosis and monitoring system, we can get the conclusion that most of the current fault diagnosis systems are designed for local service or for single service. These single service performances are:for the diagnosis system with similar problems, if the development unit is different, then the system will not able to conduct effectively in information exchanging and sharing, these defects will cause a huge waste of resources, and reduce system efficiency. At the same time, because the fault source with uncertainty and primary, these uncertainties are multiple and complex, which would lead the increasing demand of remote diagnosis, thus there requires a fault diagnosis and monitoring system to complete the requirements of remote monitoring and remote diagnosis. If the multi-Agent technolog is used in the fault diagnosis and monitoring system, it will make up for the deficiency of single fault diagnosis and monitoring system. The multi-Agent cooperative can improve the efficiecy of fault diagnosis and monitoring system, improve the level of intelligent diagnosis. Therefore, the multi-Agent collaborative technology applied in fault diagnosis monitoring system has become an important theoretical and practical research topic.This paper studies the main technology of multi-Agent cooperation, and expounds the application of the technology in fault diagnosis and monitoring system. First of all, studies the background and developing trend of fault diagnosis system, and expoundes the related technology of fault diagnosis expert system; secondly, introduces the current situation of research on the theory of multi-Agent collaborative technology, intelligent Agent technology, CSCW, blackboard structure, analysis of multi-Agent cooperative technology and application of multi-Agent cooperative technology; thirdly, studies the existing fault diagnosis and monitoring system in detail, put forward the model framework of fault diagnosis and monitoring system, make detailed analysis on the various fault diagnosis Agent role assignment, research of the blackboard structure application process in fault diagnosis and monitoring system based on multi-Agent collaborative; finally, based on comprehensive analysis of multi-Agent cooperative technology and fault diagnosis monitoring system, design and implementation of fault diagnosis system based on multi-Agent collaboration...
