| With the high technology demand is becoming higher and higher,chip designtechnology also has been rapid development.The design and application has become oneof the essential skills of IC designs industry based on the developmentof SoCplatform,and as things situation,the high technology is the more and moredemand ofapplication and designs for the SoC platform,at the same time,the performancerequirement is also higher and higher.Lead to the rapid development of more and moresoftcore processor.The LEON3softcore processor has been widely used in the SoC applications withthe advantages of high performance,low cost and flexible configuration.It has beenbecome one of the solutions in designs,validation and testing navigation SoC chip on thelarge-scale programmable devices with the trend of the navigation system functionbecoming more and more diversified,the algorithm software more and more complex andthe integration requirements higher. So the study of SoC is particularly important, SoCtechnology is the inevitable trend in the development of integrated circuits.Therefore,this article presents a kind of construction scheme for the hard platformbased on the LEON3of simplified,flexible and high performance.Through theintroduction of the32-bit processor based on the open-source LEON3,and it discussesthe advantage of powerful function in open source,flexible and configuration incompared with other softcore processor.Then introduces the SoC platform needs to usesome software and hardware resources and the bus protocol,and introduced the SoCplatform build plan and validation method and how to add custom IPcore.Finally,through the porting the Linux system on the paltform of LEON3,and brieflypresents how to develop applications on Linux system,in order to verify the feasibility ofthe platform.It is a great significance that the platform of SoC is the use and research andthe verfication of the navigation SoC chip. |
