The Planning And Implementation Of Centrex Disaster Recovery Network

The disaster, sometime named as the remote disaster recovery or geographical disasterrecovery, refers to two different sites located in geographical position to backup local important datato a disaster recovery site. When one site is not available because of natural disasters, war, powerfailure and other uncontrollable factors, the other site can take over the registration and serviceprovision.The mobile carrier in a city plays an important role, and the platform of its intelligentnetwork Centrex production based on CS network and IMS network provides Centrex service. Itincludes mobile phone users in CS domain and telephone users in IMS domain. Currently itsupports multimedia desktop phones, VPMN service, Group telephone exchange service, and onenumber service.In this thesis, in order to protect the safety of the network Centrex network and service rununinterrupted. A disaster recovery system of the mobile Centrex network is designed and realized.The disaster recovery network improves Centrex’s reliability, and enhances the ability to handleunexpected natural disasters by self-healing capabilities to avoid a major disaster situations, such aspower failures, natural disasters, equipment failure, etc., which tends to leading a wide range ofbusiness interruptions. The disaster recovery network has been tested in the field, the disasterrecovery networks is cutover successfully and put into operation.
