Abstract/Summary:
Linkscholar academic platform is an open, interactive and collaborative science platform, it makes people who engaged in scientific research and love science able to share resources, interaction and enjoy science. The website of Linkscholar provides a lot of information of resumes and papers for the scholars who register it.With the arrival of the era of4G, people’s lives become increasingly dependent on smartphones. To enable the scholars to interact anytime anywhere, we need to choose a mobile platform and expand the functions of the Linkscholar academic platform to mobile devices. Google Android with Android OS and Google Android SDK is an open platform, it allows any other people to develop applications for the Android system. With the increasing popularity of Android system, choosing an application based on Android is a wise choice.This paper introduces the relevant technology of Android application development, including the introduction of the Android OS, the mechanism of Android applications and the programming of the Android application interface. Then it focuses on the implementation of the mobile device system. According to the analysis of the Linkscholar system’s functions, the mobile system is divided into guide, register and login module, the ranking module, the resume module, the literature module and the feeds module, each module contains sub-functions. The mobile application system interacts with the server by the interfaces and simulating browsers. And this makes the mobile application system achieve the functions of the website of Linkscholar. It also add some functions like locating and shaking phones based on the characteristics of mobile devices. After that, using and rewriting the Android interface widgets and changing the interface let the mobile application system more beautiful.
