Design And Implementation Of Students Management System For Lu’An Vocational Technical College

Nowadays with the development of technology, students have become the focus of national education and score has become the indicator measuring their school performance. In modern society with more students and faster information update, manual recording of student information, which is insensitive to the latest score of students and unable to track students’ performance in time and thus inefficient in guiding students to greater progress, has become outdated and prone to error. In contrast, intelligent and information zed student management system, simpler and quicker in calculating, recording student information and tracing the changes of student performance, is a better way to do student management and to grasp the dynamics of student performance, thus providing better orientation for students.This thesis mainly discusses the requirement of data collection, transmission and storage in student management system and by employing the presently more popular object-oriented method for processing; the college student management system consists of four parts, namely school administrative management module, school census management module, curriculum management module and student performance management module. The thesis closely analyzes the operation flow and the data flow diagram of them. Finally, the thesis demonstrates how this design helps the college student management system achieve specific functions.The system uses Visual Studio2008as its development platform and bases its user interface on C#ASP.NET4.0, Using SQL Server2005structure and using ADO.NET to achieve a persistent object data. Using B/S structure to facilitate subsequent maintenance and upgrades, the system optimizes the workflow of student management and has practical significance in improving the work efficiency.
