With the vigorous development of the modern industrial technology andconstantly improvement of manufacturing in China, a higher request is set formeasurement and control system in many industries such as industrial medicalaerospace, etc. Encoder resolution and counting precision, which are the keycomponents of measurement and control system, directly affect precision ofmeasurement and control. At present, many studies has been concentrated oneccentric adjustment and the encoder signal electronics segment, however, thereare less studies on automatically compensation technology of the encoder outputsignal to improve the encoder measurement and control precision, which makesfurther study of the encoder performance improvements.To achieve good performances of compensation signal such as highefficiency, high precision, good stability and simple operation, and based onstudying the working principle of the encoder, analyzing sources of error fromencoder output signal, a JKW-1type encoder output signal automaticcompensation system is developed.Aiming at problems of signal errors obtained easily, low efficiency of theclamping and driving speed not guaranteed and so on, encoder simulation workconsole is designed to achieve stable output signal, transfer one percent of theencoder rotation stability. According to the encoder data transmission process,encoder output signal automatic compensation system work platform isdeveloped, and combined TCP/IP communication with BISS communication, thispaper realizes judgment compensation and writing of the encoder output signalparameters.Aiming at problems of artificial compensation signal process such ascomplexity, low efficiency, poor reliability and unstable precision, etc. a errorcompensation system that contains communication module, signal processing module, signal compensation module, auxiliary signal calibration module andsoftware module, is set to reduce the nonlinear error signal fluctuation and so on,which meets the requirements of amplitude, phase and error of encoder maincode (M), segment code (S), cursor code (N).The experimental results showed that the independent development ofencoder signal automatic compensation system can satisfy the requirement of thesignal parameter compensation, compensation results have good stability. Thesignal automatic compensation method improved the efficiency of the encodersignal compensation and compensation accuracy. And compared with artificialcompensation, automatic compensation result is closer to the ideal signal error.Encoder signal compensation method and the development of compensationsystem adopted in this master’s thesis has an important research significance tofurther improve the quality of the encoder signal.
