| A sound source localization based beam-forming is to obtain the exact position of the sound source by using microphone array collecting the sound signals and beam-forming algorithm processing signals. Sound source localization is important not only in the military field, also widely used in large machining, troubleshooting and other civilian areas. Sound source localization use array signal processing technology. Digital processing and data acquisition have higher requirements on the hardware., making the current sound source localization systems are costly, bulky, inconvenient to use, in recent years, with the embedded microprocessor rapid development, this paper designed a sound source localization system is low-cost, low-power, compact and easy to use.First this paper makes theoretical research on sound source localization techniques, discusses three common sound source localization methods, analyses their applicable occasions and the advantage and disadvantage of three methods. The paper uses beam-forming algorithm as the sound source localization core algorithm, analyses and compares conventional beam-forming algorithm and adaptive beam-forming algorithm by simulating. And the paper conducted a preliminary analysis and comparison of the characteristics of the different microphone array arrays topologies, a circular microphone array is used to receive sound signals by comparison.On the basis of theoretical research, data acquisition and processing system is designed for8-channel audio signal synchronized acquisition and storage that consist of an embedded microprocessor S3C6410and the AD7606, with a16bits sampling precision and25KSPS sampling rate, S3C6410microprocessor with667MHz clock speed meet the noise signal acquisition and processing requirements.Finally, this paper give a brief introduction of the embedded system development and Linux operating system, and develop the user interface on Linux system, then transplant to the embedded system. User-friendly interface can display real-time voice signal waveform acquisition and Showing positioning results. |
