| With the increase of users and business, people’s demands for data transmission and network access are becoming higher and higher. Fiber access or wireless access cannot satisfy the users’demands for big bandwidth and high flexibility access. The fiber-wireless network which is a combination of the fiber subnetwork and wireless subnetwork has provided high bandwidth access with ubiquity and mobility. The system design, network planning etc. of fiber-wireless network are all research hotspot in related domain.But traditional single-path transmission cannot satisfy people’s requirements for network performance due to various services. Multipath selection algorithms have been proposed as a solution to the network congestion. The multipath selection algorithm in local network has some limits in such heterogeneous networks. So we apply virtualization to fiber-wireless network to eliminate the heterogeneity. The main Contents are as follows.1. We propose a Modified Weighted Round Robin (MWRR) algorithm based on the model of Fiber-wireless network virtualization. Different schedule schemes will be arranged due to different QoS requests of the data flows and the different states of the links via the global view in the control plane. The simulation results are demonstrated, which prove that the performance of the network has improved.2. We propose the system design based on Software Defined Network and openflow protocol. We embed the multipath algorithm in the controller and define rules to modify the flow table through the controller.3. We propose the networking scheme and node design to support the multipath technology to make the fiber-wireless network being independent of the specific access way and achieve the overall control of the network.We also and conduct the simulation and experimental verification. In the end we summarized all the work and foresee the development of fiber-wireless access network and multipath technology. |
