With the rapid improvement of technology, computing capability, as a new kind of resource, is getting more and more attention and recognition. However, the traditional way of allocating IT resources as local service can no longer meet the rapid growth of the needs of the entire community for computing capability. Thanks to rapid development of modern communication technology and continuous improvement of network infrastructure, the common bandwidth has reached a high level that broadband network can stand for computing service through the internet. As a booming technology, cloud computing encloses and integrates the IT resource by remote services, so as to meet the public requirements of computing capacity to a large extent.At present, more and more enterprises begin to consider the establishment of private IaaS cloud platform to meet their organization’s needs of IT system. Faced with complex and diverse requirements, how to build a useful and reliable network has become an important issue. This thesis focus on the construction of China Mobile’s cloud platform with considering the general needs of operators, banks, medium and large network companies. Finally we design and implement a network framework of the IaaS cloud platform, in order to fulfill management requirements of network resources in processes of building private clouds. The thesis first introduces the development status of cloud computing and the background of private cloud resource pool. Then, we analyze the requirement for network framework and make the overall layout of the project. In the detailed implementation section, we start with the hardware part of the project by introducing the architecture of the whole network; then the software part which includes network model, service process and the automation of hardware will be discussed. Network model is for the abstraction and encapsulation of hardware devices, in order to achieve virtualization requirements. Service process defines handling behavior and specifications for the entire cloud platform’s network services. Hardware automation module is to achieve the interaction between software and hardware, which provides functioning interfaces for the needs of network model. Finally, we test the entire network framework, indicating the stable operation of their service.
