The Research And Implementation Of Automatic Test Framework Based On QTP

In order to quickly respond to market needs and ensure software products quality, it requires the process to shorten the test cycle while ensuring the quality of the test. Therefore, it is crucial to introduce automated testing to improve test efficiency and reduce the risk of randomness by manual test to improve the quality of software. A good and commonly used automated test framework can be an important guarantee for the successful implementation of automated testing. The establishment of automated test framework can specify the implementation of automated testing process, reduce the risk of automated implementation and improve the efficiency of automated testing.This thesis is based on the QTP (QuickTest Professional) technology and advantages and disadvantages of the existing automated testing framework and our product features. An automation testing framework is Designed and implemented for Setting a framework model to establish automated testing tool selection and make management rules of automated testing. It is applied to automation testing project of video production management platform. Through the practice of this framework in this project, it can introduce for the company of automated testing, gradually perfect the popularization and apply in other projects. The main works in this thesis are as follows:1)By doing research and analysis on the existing automated testing framework, analyzing and comparing their advantages and disadvantages, studying the test methods and the key techniques of QTP, a hybrid test automation framework based on QTP is put forward.2) The design principles of test automation framework as the framework is determined, the requirements of automated testing of the management platform of production line and the company’s products and personnel are analyzed, the automatic test framework based on QTP technology is designed.3) The test automation framework has been applied to practice by implementing automation test of video production management platform. The test automation framework in this thesis achieved one-key-multi-host test scripts to make concurrent execution. Excel VBA statements are used to make real-time monitoring on the execution of test scripts. Script execution results can be viewed in GUI by using JAVA to invoke VBS interfaces, and it makes staff can easily perform and monitor automated testing. The practice has proved that the application of automated testing framework for automated testing not only improves the efficiency of automated test script development, the reuse level of test scripts, but also makes more efficient of automated testing, higher test coverage and management and simpler for maintenance and management. It Also can speed up the response speed of the product change, greatly reduce the production cost and improve production’s quality.
