As the mobile internet time is coming, the demand of video content has increased with each passing day. Mobile streaming media has become the new focus of the development of mobile communication. At the same time, there is a very big challenge to video compression rate and reliable data transmission, because of the unstable wireless network condition and high delay of interconnect. In order to ensure that users have high quality screen and not have stuttering playback experience when playing video, this thesis has a depth analysis of mobile streaming media system on several key techniques:Http Live Streaming Protocol, mobile streaming media encoding method, P2P data transmission technology and video involved code library (FFMpeg), the Boost library, Object C language and so on. This thesis proposes a mobile streaming media system based on P2P on the basis of research on HTTP Live Streaming protocol. This thesis describes the overall scheme of the system and the summary of design, and designs the main function modules including audio and video collection, audio and video transcoding, flow slice and H.264encoding filter, tracker server of the server and P2P client download module, local HTTP module and playing module of the client. Finally, there is a test analysis on the use of the player and the server’s loading ratio. This thesis designs a streaming media system. This system implements the functions:video capturing in terminal, decoding, streaming media transmission, media playing and so on. Under the same conditions, this system could be better to meet the user’s video viewing experience and highlight the advantages of this system with a massive surge in the amount of users.
