With the development of Internet and the technology of smart phone, the whole world has entered mobile Internet era. The most important characteristics of mobile Internet era are large amounts of data and the various requirements by users. These have become problems that the Internet companies and the providers have to face. At the same time, it has a big development that the technology of cloud storage and HTML5. Cloud storage is the extension of the cloud computing in storage, which can solve the problem of the storage and management of mass data effectively. HTML5is the core technology of web2.0, which brings a lot of new features that can greatly improve the experience of users. Both of them are the most popular technologies these years.In this paper, it will be mainly researched that HTML5and cloud storage from the background and the key technologies of the two. The classic cloud storage system HDFS and some characteristics of HTML5will be analyzed. After analyzing the advantages and characteristics of the two, it will be founded where they can combine and designed that the architecture of the cloud storage based on HTML5. In this architecture, there are three main systems which are front-end system, interaction system and back-end system. All of the three will be expounded in detail. Besides, it also includes webkit and web OS in this architecture, which shows the strengths of them. In addition, with this architecture and the technology of HTML5and cloud storage, this paper will design and implement a platform sharing traffic information which can make users share traffic pictures to decide the best way by using websocket, canvas, geolocation and so on.
