Design And Realization Of Automatic Control System Of Rail Grinding Machine Based On AVR

With the high-speed and overloading of train, rail grinding machine becomes more and more important in daily maintenance. Rail grinding machine based on MCU can not only control the feed of the grinding wheel automatically, but also accurately locate and control, bringing great convenience for rail grinding.This topic designed a rail grinding machine based on AVR micro-controller. The main control chip of the system is ATmega128, and it drives the stepper motor to drive the wheel to move up and down and around, through counting the rotary encoder pulses to locate the accurate position. The system can show the wheel’s displacement and deflection, doing the work of real-time monitoring and timely adjustment.Firstly expounds the background and significance of rail grinding machine, and its present development situation and development trend; Then, the principle block diagram is given, and this paper makes a detailed introduction and analysis of the function of each module, the implementation method and the circuit principle diagram; Moreover this paper gives the software design idea of the burnish machine, the flow chart of each module and the specific procedures; Finally, the simulation verifies that the system can work normally, and can meet the design requirements. The design for a specific project of manufacturer, based on the traditional manual feed grinding machine combined with single-chip microcomputer for automatic feeding innovation, has extensive practical significance.
