Transportation Management Information System covering the area of Baosteel Branch plant into the factory from raw materials to finished product throughout the logistics and transportation management, system development through the implementation of the factory production line of logistics and transport management and control. The use of information technology in railway transport, automobile transport, water transport, transport business, transportation finance, transportation and warehousing, transportation safety, transportation equipment, construction machinery and other comprehensive information management.The Transport Management Information System, according to Baosteel branch-plant logistics from planning to performance information processing is based on transportation mode (rail transport, car transport, sea transport, transportation and warehousing) separately for processing, steel products transport planning information through the9672production and marketing system or transport line pipe mill commissioned the preparation of artificial issued, the business related to the finished product from the product to the entire process, the operating process, information tracking processing, due to transportation management information systems and most production lines L3system does not establish an information interface, dynamic management process can not be achieved, the subsystem information exchange are mostly handled manually to judge, resulting in information processing is not timely, and effective management, the coverage is small, over-reliance on management level, professional quality management.In this paper, Baoshan Iron and Steel plant on the Transportation Management System,9672related to the factory system, the production of L3system and the platform features an analysis of the plot in the stowage of the ship model, warehouse management model, vehicle scheduling model based on the implementation of pre-development, through the optimization of the current system interface design, combined with improved system platform and wireless data transmission system construction, Baoshan steel plant dynamics of logistics management and control, to improve the logistics system capacity-building. Final, economy is also proved through related datas.
