| Currently gear shaping CNC is mostly achieved on the basis of the secondarydevelopment of the universal CNC systems (such as the Siemens840D), namely therelated technologies of shaping are added to universal CNC system. Compared withthe universal gear shaping CNC, the gear shaping CNC Human Machine Interface(HMI) system software in this paper is an important part of the special gear shapingCNC system developed by the CIMS Institute of Hefei University of Technology.Humane and targeted HMI system software is the important component of a low-costand high-performance embedded gear shaping CNC.The main research content of thepaper is as follows.(1)The working principle and method of gear shaping machining are analyzed andsummarized. Combining the gear shaping system’s operating system and hardwareplatform, gear shaping CNC is functionally analyzed and inserted into the managementtask and the control task.Then, the function for important modules of the managementtask that is in the charge of HMI system software, such as automatic programming,interface management, document management, process simulation, communicationand decoding, is analyzed and explained.(2)Combining with HMI system hardware, HMI system software is divided intoseven page sets and the HMI’s overall architecture of gear shaping CNC is constructed.Then, based on the embedded hardware platform of ARM+DSP+FPGA, on theoperating system of Windows CE6.0, using the EVC++module in VS2005as thedevelopment tool, important modules of HMI system software, which includeautomatic programming, interface management, document management, processsimulation, communication and decoding, is developed.(3)After the HMI system software is developed, each major function module and theoverall stability are tested. Test results show that gear shaping CNC HMI systemsoftware is basically in line with the expected function requirement and has highstability. Therefore, it meets the test condition in the machine.(4)Finally, the tested gear shaping CNC HMI system software is plugged on the gearshaping machine tool whose model is YK5132B to be debugged. The debugging resultproves that gear shaping CNC HMI system software has the ability to process actuallygears, and the processed gear has high accuracy. The gear shaping CNC HMI system software researched and developed in this paperhas basically met the requirement of the actual gear processing, laying a goodfoundation for gear shaping CNC’s industrialization and marketization in the future. |
