It is currently developing BeiDou satellite navigation system of our nation. it can provide regional navigation services for users throughout Asia and Australia after more than a decade construction. In order to ensure quickly and efficiently development of BeiDou satellite navigation system. It is of great significance to evaluate its positioning and navigation fuctions in a method scientificly and accurately.This paper aimed at analyzing the original observation data of BeiDou satellite navigation system, studies the basic theories, models and methods of this satellite navigation system systematically. On this basis, an effective testing and evaluation of original observation data was achieved. This paper focuses on the following aspects:(1) Introduce the status quo, components and operating principle of the BeiDou satellite navigation system and summarize briefly the principle of generating raw observation data of receiver.(2) Present the error models of BeiDou satellite navigation system and give a mathematical model for part of the errors. Discuss the linear combination of raw observations involved in the data processing and analyze its different characteristic in detail.(3) Study the method used in the analysis and processing of original observation data. First, a computer programming language was used to implement the corresponding data processing algorithms and further, an independently designed data processing and evaluation software with the function of automatic data process and analysis was developed to meet the requirements of the practical data processing.(4) Process the original observation data using self-developed software and analyze the obtained resolution results. The experiment indicates that data of BeiDou satellite navigation system has good quality and can meet the practical needs of various applications and demands. Also, evaluation algorithms and software were proved effective and useful in meeting the requirements of the data analysis.Through analysis of this paper, it clearly that BeiDou satellite navigation system is a reliable and efficient satellite navigation system. Moreover, the result analysis shows that it’s satisfy actual application. We believe that with the continuous improvement of BeiDou satellite navigation system has an increasingly applicability to daily life.
