The rapid development of science and technology promotes the diversity of thenew media.Under this background, the TV variety show with High ratings is tryinghard to find a way of media convergence. Currently, some large entertainmentprogrammes such as The Voice of China, Dad,Where going, I am a Singer and so onare trying to use microblog to communicate with the audience and create their ownbrands, thus to raise the ratings.This paper is divided into4parts, first one is the summary, which includesresearch background,research purpose,methods and innovation points.The second partstells the interaction between TV variety show and microblog, includes theirconcepts,present situation of interaction. The third part is based on The Voice of Chinasample------from the design, the frequency of updates and the content of itsmicroblog, to find out why it’s so popular. The last part is strategies of convergencebetween TV show and microblog.It’s devided into two separate sections, one is theproblems left and another is related strategy.This paper aims at researching a more suitable way of convergence betweenTV show and microblog, by successful practice of The Voice of China’s microblg.It’s a good thing to provide some guide to the TV shows’ microblog in China.
