Design And Implementation Of A REST-based E-commerce System

E—commerce has become one of the top three popular industry(search engine,socialnetwork services,e-commerce)as the waves of the internet revolution. Combination ofe-commerce and traditional industries has brought out not only for consumers toimproving the quality of their life, but also help them become more competitive in theincreasingly fierce market competition,it also quietly changed the business model and ourlife style. After years of sustained development, e-commerce has formed its own uniqueecosystem, and so many people has developed e-shopping a living habits.This paper introduces the background and significance of e-commerce and gives abrief introduction of e-commerce outside and inside our country while introducing RESTin detail. Then the paper analyzed and designed a B2B e-commerce platform for printingon demand by the methods of software engineering.The platform divided into four modulsfunctionally as user module for user service and product module for product managementand shoping and order module for order service and paying module for checking by somany methods.Finally, the paper give the steps of implementation of the platform with theguide of REST and test the platform, pointed out the work required for further study andimprovement. The platform is developed by SSH,wich is a lightweight J2EE framework.Nginx is used for enhancing the system’performancea and for keeping dynamic and staticresource separated. A distributed memory object caching middleware named Memcache isused for speeding data access.The platform combined traditional printing industry with the E-commerce and serveenterprise customerswith professional printing services and make it possible printing onthe Internet so that the enterprise users can print whatever at anywhere,anytime.
