With the rapid development of the Internet of Things and RFID technology, the demandfor RFID tags continued to show an upward trend. And the localization of the RFID tag Inlaymanufacturing equipment is of great significance. It is essential to improve the stability andreliability of domestic equipment, and also to diagnose and maintain timely while the failureoccurred. Under the studies on the RFID tag Inlay manufacturing equipment, this paperproposes a diagnosis-maintenance system. It’s mainly about:According to the production process of the RFID tag, the needs analysis of the systemare completed and the composition of the system is defined also. Depending on these work,the overall design of the diagnosis-maintenance system are proposed. After that, the paperdiscusses the monitoring technology for the equipment and show the design of the monitoringmodule.FMEA(Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and Fault tree method are used to analyzethe RFID tag Inlay manufacturing equipment, list FMEA tables and build fault tree model fortwo key modules including bonding and hot-pressing.On the basis of the application on the fault "Chip Hot-Pressing Inadequate" in RFID tagInlay manufacturing equipment, the diagnosis–reasoning method based on fuzzy Petri nets arestudied. And the reasoning result is verified also, which shows the feasibility of the system.In the end, the software implementation of the diagnosis-maintenance system iscompleted which have been tested on the equipment HIT-DIII which is developed by WuhanHuaweike Intelligent technology Co. LTD. The test results show that the system can meet theactual needs of the equipment, and also can shorten the maintenance time and reducemaintenance costs.
