Wireless mesh network is a multiple hops network, which is the inheritage anddevelopment to the ad hoc network. It is a network architecture that could changedynamically. Mesh network has the characteristics of self-organizing, self-repairability,self-configuration and has the advantages of robustness, high bandwidth and installability.Mesh network has broad application prospects in the areas that are difficult to arrangecommunication facilities such as mountain and coal mine. As a result, mesh network isbeing noticed and applied more and more. We can also find that some products have beenmade and put into use. This article mainly introduce the default routing algorithm ofmesh network, and propose a new multipath routing algorithm that has the ability tobalance load based on the drawback of its default one.Firstly, we give a brief introduction of mesh network, points out the drawback ofAODV protocol after a detailed interpretation of its implementation procedure. On thisbasis, we dissect the implementation procedure of AOMDV protocol.Secondly, we analyze the drawback of AOMDV protocol, and put forward our ownimprovement program aiming at load balancing.Besides, we expound a much morereasonable criterion of link quality known as metric. And come to the idea that we cantransmit data using the SRR algorithm. All of these measures can get the purpose of loadbalancing.Finally, we use simulation software to validate our own improved routingalgorithm, to see whether the ability of network is promoted or not.Besides, we introduce the principles of CCF and propose that the ability of networkcould be promoted by the way of using multi-channel transmission.The research content in this article has a strong practical, it has a great significancefor the popularization and application of mesh network.
