A Study On Internet Product Operation In Big Data Vision

At the present time, the Internet Age, data has become a crucial factor of production, likewise “BigData” is being researched gradually in various walks of life. Currently, the Internet Users, however,have an intensive desire that the Internet products and services should more “understand” them intheir immediate and even future requirements, instead of considering these products and servicesmerely as utilities. First of all the need in the Internet industry is to achieve success in data operation,with the challenges of the era of big data.This study summarizes the basic theory points of Big Data Communication, describes the currentsituation and key problems of Data Operation in the Internet industry over interviews, then concludesa feasible system of Data Operation, that places emphasis on the constitution of Data OperationTeams, the requirements and elements of Data Operation Platforms. Meanwhile this study is in thecontext of big data, based on the theories of the Internet communication and the practices in theInternet product operation, combined with the research and internship experience of the author. At theend of study, a case about an operation activity of QQ, an instant-messaging product, is raised todemonstrate the above-mentioned system in feasibility and availability.This thesis mainly including the following viewpoints,1) In the era of big data, the data is an asset, the higher ownership of data, the more advantages theenterprises will have.2) It is going to be a fatal condition for a company whether small or large that the work of DataOperation are prepared adequately.3) A feasible system of Data Operation is comprised of Data Operation Teams, Data OperationPlatforms and support technologies of Data Operation. These three elements achieves the real-timemining and analyzing of data, and guarantees the order of the work of Data Operation.
