RFID (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) middleware is the core function ofRFID system. In the whole system it connects hardware equipment and the applicationsystem. The main purpose of the study is to design a RFID middleware which is therequirements of coal mine safety early warning system. Through the middleware the tagdata will be treated in the light of the ALE specification and then transmit the tag data tothe upper layer to develop the application system.Through the research and analysis of RFID at home and abroad on the middlewareand combining the requirements of the coal mine safety early warning system, the systemhas the following five functions: the function of data filtering and grouping, the functionof hardware management, ALE function, the function of data storage and unifiedinterface. The service-oriented idea is applied in the RFID middleware. Userscan find services and service interface from the service agency and call the servicesaccording to the service description. It increases the flexibility of the application. As thecore functions of middleware system, data filtering algorithm directly affects thewhole RFID middleware system. Through the study of data filtering algorithm, itproposes the data filtering algorithm based on Bloom filter. The algorithm uses the hashcomputation to map the RFID data and it greatly saves the computation time and thestorage space. At last this data filtering algorithm compares with other typical datafiltering algorithms on the simulation of Matlab. It proves the feasibility of data filteringand the advantage of time complexity and space complexity.In order to ensure the safety of the middleware system, it uses C#language todevelop the RFID middleware desktop client. The desktop client can realize theconfiguration of middleware system and hardware management. At the same time userscan make ALE service online through it. The RFID middleware speeds upthe development of the application system.
