Data journalism is that the product of data technology combination with the news practice in data era, also is the result of data processing technology and data visualization techniques used successfully in the news industry, also is the news media industry using data information to innovate news stories in the background of big data.Data journalism has changed the gathering and editing process of the traditional news,and has improved production method of news.So as a new form of news reports,data-journalism has received the attention by national media attention, journalism schools, news organizations,which have begun to study data journalism theory and practice.For our data journalism practice and research started late,at present, there are many of the needed research.In order to further understanding of the practice of data journalism,we will discuss specific interview and editing of data journalism in the paper.So far, the news industry and academia are not unified conclusion for the concept of the data journalism. So the paper has sorted out the definition with literature study method,on this basis, to define its connotation.After clarifying the concept, mainly combining data news instance of our country,this paper has been from three stages of data collection, data analysis and data presentation to analyze specific data journalism editorial process.From introduction of the press production process,the paper found that news editorial has own characteristics that is the diversification of the main editing,the arrangement of the production process and the visualization of news narrative.Finally,this article has been from three macro-level which are report contents, report forms and producers to analyze existing state of affairs of the interview and editing of data journalism.After an overview of the data journalism editorial,the article has mainly focused on the analysis of specific works to explore the development of the gathering and editing of data journalism.How to select the object of study is an important.In the process of making news,the editorial ways of the paper media, television media and online media are similar,depending on the amount of news reports,the breadth of news topics,the nature of the media and the operability of finding work,this paper has selected the data journalism of Netease and Xinhua as research subjects.From the point of view that the data sources,the degree of data visualization and the quantity and quality of news reporting, the two columns has a typical representative significance.Then from the perspective of news gathering and editing data to build three category,which are data sources,news topics and presentation type.Through analysis of the statistical results has found that there are still some deficiencies in the gathering and editing of data journalism.After a detailed analysis of the gathering and editing practices of data journalism,for lack of that,this paper has put forward optimization measures.The executor of the editorial subject is journalism,in order to adapted to the current news gathering and editing,they should foster a sense of the data,and change their role cognition timely,and improve their data processing capabilities in various ways.Data is the core data news in data journalism,but currently a single channel of data mining is not conducive to gather data,a variety of ways for data collection is imperative,especially through self-collection methods to get first-hand data.To the question of the limitations of the current selection,this article is recommended that news topics should focus on broadening international perspective, follow-Fi hotspot and daily life of the audience.In the form of expression,data journalism used mostly static Chart and the chart type is also very monotonous,so journalists should focus more on the design of interactive elements in the future,and continue to innovate on the information chart types to improve data visualization.I hope these optimization strategies can provide a reference for the press practitioners.
