With the application of the IoT(Internet of things) technology, the relevant industries have been rapid developed, and also lead to the redundant construction of IoT’s industry platform, causing unnecessary waste of resources. In view of the present problem of iterative development, and less communication between the industries existing in the application of IoT in multi-industry, this paper designs a IoT’s public platform, to make the Internet of things industry more generality in multi-industry and multi-field. Unified management and the general configuration method are adopted in the complete design and implementation of server and terminals on IoT public platform, to build the information communication platform for multi-field uses based on general data acquisition in sensor network.The public platform is based on the general data acquisition in the perception layer, separates the numerical values from the collected data for different industries and different meanings,implement unified storage and management of the numerical values in server as dimensionless data, the administrator uses server and terminal to configure dimension of data to restore the practical significance of data. From the above analysis, it shows that the design of the public platform server and terminal can be divided into three parts, including sensor data receiving storage module, the platform website management system (Web) terminal and the mobile terminal. Sensor data receiving storage module is designed in the development environment of QT, completes the communication with sensor nodes through TCP/IP protocol, completes node net registration, receives and processes the sensor data, updates the configuration of sensor nodes, receives and storages sensor data, feedbacks configuration information and other functions. Web terminal is designed based on B/S architecture, running on the WAMP (combination of free and open source software of Apache+PHP+MySQL) platform, using HTML + CSS and PHP, to realize the scene management, node management, customer management, sensor network port configuration, data dimension configuration, sensor node configuration management, sensor data view and other functions; Mobile terminal mainly consider the portability, the design is based on the Android APK application environment, using Java code in the Eclipse environment, the mobile terminal implemented in the sensor networks node configuration and data view and other functions through the interaction with the server database. From the test in intelligent agriculture and Industrial mine, it turns out that the system has reached the expected effection, Verify the versatility and flexibility of the platform in multi-field and multi-industry, reduce the iterative development of the system.The server and terminal of IoT’s public platform realize the generality for multi-industry, improve the iterative development in multi-field, promote the communication among the industries. Server and terminal in the design make the platform general, flexible and maintainable and extensible, the system has a certain practical significance to build general Internet application platform among industries.
