Research And Implementation Of Openflow Protocol Conformance Test Based On Ttcn3

Nowadays, the emergence of SDN makes the network have some degree of "definition" ability, the status quo of their flexibility started to change the passive network. The network can take the initiative to "processing" flow, but not subject to the passive "bearing" flow, and the relationship between the network and the computer is not only the "butt", but "interaction". SDN is one of the present hot network technology. OpenFlow is a network protocol of SDN architecture, as southbound interface of SDN architecture, it will separate the data forwarding module and routing control function module of the traditional network equipment, push forward the reformation and growth of the network. Network protocol is a series of rules for information exchange required between computer networks. As the present protocol is often described in natural language text, the realization of the agreement among the equipment manufactures will be different because of the different understanding of the protocol and the manufacturers can not ensure normal intercommunication between different devices. Therefore, in order to ensure the perfect combination of various manufacturers and the protocol specification, it is necessary to carry on "protocol conformance test" according to the protocol specification.The system implementation is based on the H3C internal universal test platform VTP 11.3.1, the script code language TTCN3, the interconnection network mode between Controller simulation PC and HP 5900AF-48G-4XG-2QSFP+ Switch.Based on the detailed research of protocol conformance test work mechanism and the standard OpenFlow module, discussing the structure standard test language TTCN3, the paper designs TTCN3 conformance test system based on OpenFlow protocol, and carry outs the protocol conformance test. The struction of the thesis is: Firstly, understand the working principle of Switch and Controller in OpenFlow protocol network, the message interaction and message encapsulation format, study OpenFlow protocol in depth. Secondly, research the principle of protocol conformance test. Combined with the actual, process this protocol conformance test; introduce the framework of TTCN3 language. Then, analysis and design the conformance test system of OpenFlow protocol, analysis the need of test sistem, design the testcases of system, template and the function. Finally, code the TTCN3 script, execute the script to complete the protocol conformance test and output the protocol conformance test report.
