The Research Of The Development And Value Of Mobile Reading

In human history, the appearance of the Internet Age can be compared favourably with the great sailing ships era, which have had a significant impact on human race. It is particularly worth mentioning that, the mobile Internet lead to a leap of Internet age. The information society began with the appearance of humanity. The information has always been the indispensable element of human existence, and it combined with material and energy that composed the world. The information has always been the most important role of all three since the born of the computer and Internet, because the Internet using bit as carrier to spread information has natural advantages. Mobile reading is exactly acquiring information by using mobile internet devices. The substance of the information mind is that changing the method people acquiring information before; meanwhile improve the efficiency of transmission, break the asymmetry of information and create new value. As we know, the subsequent media always make up for the past media, and the mobile reading epitomized all of the media before. We cannot imagine what influence the mobile reading will make to our human society; it also makes it possible for return human’s evolution into the form of tribe. At the same time, we should wide awake and see that, when people becoming stronger and stronger by virtue of machine, the dependence also becoming more and more intensely. It is worth for us to pondering how to develop the relationship between people and machine.In this paper, I firstly introduced the background and content that I researched, defined main concept and summarized the research status of the related field domestic and overseas. Next, I made a brief introduction of the history of media, made a conclusion of the development law of media, and deduced that the generation of the mobile reading is inevitable. Then I introduced the historical background, the reasons and the features of the generation of the mobile reading; besides, in order to further clarify the features and influences of mobile reading, I did analysis on three typical applications. On this base, I further explored how to using the mobile reading:on the one hand, we should learn to efficiently get valid resources from massive information; on the other hand, we should learn to protect our privacy. Furthermore, I would stretch the thoughts of the impact of mobile reading to the field of society, I have made a brief explore the rebuilt of information equality, the develop of social relationship, the rise of collective wisdom, the development tendency of the media, the culture evolution direction of the pan-entertainment, and the relationship of human and machine of the mobile Internet field. In the end, I made predictions about the future of mobile reading.
