Research On Wifi-based Bus Advertising Media System

As an important part of the development of human society, smart city construction is based on the network coverage,especially the public traffic system network coverage.At present, the bus is still one of the main means of transportation, which takes up much time. In terms of the bus transport function, there is a strong possibility to provide passengers with more value-added services, obtaining benefits as well as providing entertainment.For bus system flexibility and large flows of people, this paper designs an intelligent public bus vehicle media system based on WIFI to improve transit bus service levels and enterprise benefits. The system generates an authentication request data flow from passengers through vehicle WIFI router to the background system and an advertisement data flow from the background system through vehicle WIFI router to passengers. This kind of vehicle WIFI router with high-pass AR9341 chip can improve the equipment data carrying capacity and support up to 80 terminals at the same time. In addition, the design of dual card access mode, using two data terminal at the same time, can double the Internet speed and support the rapid conversion of WIFI signals of mobile and China Unicom 4G/3G/2G. Fortunately, the vehicle WIFI router increases the local storage, realizes the sharing of resources through the local area network and breaks through the bottleneck of mobile / Unicom speed. The host computer background service system, using SQL Server as the database platform and extracting the technology of C#.NET, can achieve numerous functions, for example, implementation of vehicle equipment management including passenger login authentication management and advertising management, statistics of the number of online terminals and online time period, which are presented in a graphical visual interface. Finally, this system records passengers Internet footprint, analyzes passengers’ surfing habits and realizes the delivery of advertising by the classification of passengers and precise advertising push ultimately.The experimental results show that the system possesses the properties of strong carrying capacity, dual card access mode, powerful storage function and the best online experience.The background system developed advertising management function and mechanism of strong data analysis shown in a graphical visual interface to provide convenience for the user operation and maintenance. Therefore, the system provides a model for public transport network covering the city and promotes the construction of big data platform.
