The Research And Development Of General-Purpose Network Examination System

With the rapid development of the Internet concept and database, the technology, which mainly depends on the network and communication and bases on the computer science, has gradually penetrated into the education and its related field. Exam pattern also has changed from the traditional paper-based to the paperless examination system that aims at saving cost, improving test efficiency and simplifying exam process.Based on the users’ actual requirements, the computer science and network communication technology, the paper is intended to design and develop a versatility computer examination system. It can completely make the self-test function and exam function transform paper to application. Besides, combined the result of the preliminary analysis and research, the author detailed designed each module of target system, meanwhile, adopt the three-tier C/S development architecture and used C# programming language, SQL Server 2005 database as the core technical support to implement. Finally, I apply the professional testing tool to provide a strong guarantee for its stability.Currently, the author has finished the Step one of the system development work, and it was well applied in my department’s every day examination. So far it performs perfectly, it smoothly transformed the traditional exam scene, and improved the efficiency of current work, therefore lightened the burden of both professors and students.
