Embedded Reference Service In Anhui Various University Libraries

With the development of computer technology and network communication technology, era of big data came, the information environment we live in and information needs of users are developing of changing. In the era of big data, in order to meet the information needs of individual users in this stage, university library needs library reference service to be embedded into the user side. Reference service is the core business activities of the library, and embedded reference service is an extension and expansion of the traditional library reference service, It is a combination of embedded services and library reference service, service mode includes telephone, form, micro-blog, micro-channel, mobile libraries, etc., and it can provides personalized service and deeper level service for the user community of library. Reference service which embed user research environment and information utilization process, can expand the use of information resources, provide knowledge and specialized value-added services librarian and save users time. Embedded reference service of great significance conducted in university library, It is an inevitable trend for university library, it can adapt the needs of diversity users and professional information, meet the sharing of the internet age knowledge and information, realize value added of knowledge.This paper describes the domestic and foreign scholars on the embedded reference services research in this topic, introduces the theory of embedded reference service put forward by some domestic scholars, and put forward the meaning, features and service model of embedded reference services accordingly. Embedded reference services had been investigated and analyzed by this paper from two angles of content and practices. Analyzed the angle of content of university library launch its services, library services mainly related to scientific research, teaching and learning activities. In terms of practical way, university Library provides services mainly in the form of a telephone, e-mail, forms, micro-blog, micro-channel, mobile libraries and other service models. Three university libraries that chose for actual research and analysis by author are libraries of University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology and Anhui University, and conducted a survey of users, in order to find the deficiencies of university library services, and make recommendations to solve these problems for universities draw. In the era of big data, for university Library, expanding the space and functionality of its services is a good service development when embedded reference service is implemented.Paper is divided into six parts according to the author thesis research ideas. The first part is introduction, the content is the research background, significance, ideas, methods, domestic and international research reviewed papers and innovation framework of this research topic. The second part is embedded reference service overview; mainly content is background, concepts and characteristics of embedded reference consulting services. The third part is embedded reference service development situation in Anhui academic library, through the investigation and analysis of library embedded reference service situation of three universities which are University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology and Anhui University, find out the differences between each other, further through the way of questionnaire survey, to understand the University Library in service problems. The fourth part is the deficiencies of the Anhui university libraries embedded reference service. By comparing the content and method characteristics of three universities library service, problems are pointed out when Anhui universities are providing embedded reference services. The fifth part is there commendations to improve Anhui province university library embedded reference service. In a survey of three colleges and universities library service in Anhui province, and carries on the analysis of its existing problems, put forward initiatives to solve the problems of embedded reference service. The sixth part is a summary and outlook, pointed out the deficiencies in the research of University Library embedded reference service according to the actual situation, and prospect the future of embedded reference service.
