| With the development of satellite communications, on-board switching has been one of the key technologies in satellite communications in the future. Based on the current switching system, we combined circuit switching and packet switching and presented a private high speed mixed switching unit with multiple input and output ports.Based on the scientific research project "Design and Implementation of Private Mixed Switching Unit", the background of this topic and the overview of the development of switching are introduced in the first place. Secondly, an overall design framework of “private mixed switching unit†is determined according to the demand analysis of the project. Thirdly, the thesis elaborates the specific design and implementation of input and output processing modules in switching unit in detail. Furthermore, aiming at the traffic control method in our mixed switching unit, a new traffic control algorithm based on scheduling upon current traffic control algorithms is discussed. Finally, the input and output processing modules are verified by timing simulation and a system testing result in practice is shown in the end. This project has been proved on board recently, indicating that our module design is reasonable and achieves the desired results. |
