A Fashionable Technology Of Pervasive Social Networking Based On Mobile Device

Pervasive social communications are instant social activities through communications based on mobile elements.The development and popularization push pervasive social networking(PSN) to be a important part of people’s daily life,aesthetic play a key role in pervasive social communications.However,there is no such a technology can provide the customers a application of pervasive social communications that fashionable,safe and easy to use. We developed Gemini,a kind of pervasive social communications based on smart phone.Gemini can gather multiple devices into a mobile Ad-hoc networking(MANET) and allow people control a fashionalbe wearable device via the device.This dissertation mainly introduce the design and implementation of Gemini.We developed a prototype of Gemini,implemented PSN and design a plan for user interaction with fashionable wearable device,then we test the performance of Gemini on by arranging a series of network accident,test the acceptability of Gemini by practice.The results show that Gemini is good at ease of use,usefulness and fashion.The author’s major contributions are outlined as follows:1.Independent implementation of Gemini.We implement pervasive social communications system based on mobile device,and investigated the effect of the system according to user testing. We design a mobile application-Gemini, the application can be installed and run on Android system. Gemini allows instant communication between users via MANET; at the same time, Gemini can also search and connect the wearable devices in the vicinity, allowing users to wearable device control. On this basis, we implement SecGemini protocol, allowing users handle a secure recognition when they want to have a face-to-face meeting. In order to meet user expectations in the fashion sense, we design the UI follow Android Design.2.We evaluated the performance of Gemini through performance test.Test environmentis based on the real data,we test the performance in network of Gemini, we arranged different network contingencies to test the ability of bearing, the ability of self-organization and robustness of Gemini.To test the acceptability of Gemini by User survey, we collect user information before the experiment, including age, occupation, professional background, the time of mobile phone use and disposition, the let the users use Gemini a whole day.During the test,users had a experience of Gemini, and at the end of the experiment they will login the server and fill a questionnaire. After testing, we analyze the performance of Gemini according the data.The results confirm the usability and usefulness of Gemini.
