SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) image change detection is to discover the feature change information by detecting SAR images obtained from different periods of the same scene. Image change detection has been widely used in the national economy and the national defense construction, such as environmental monitoring, assessment of natural disasters, military reconnaissance, battlefield information on the dynamic perception and other fields. Because these applications are required to make a quick response and timely decision and massive SAR images bring huge computational challenge, traditional processing method based on single CPU is difficult to meet and respond to these challenges. At this moment, as a new-style computer system,heterogeneous computing is developing rapidly and gradually become the mainstream.The rapid development of heterogeneous computing provides a possible and premise for the design and the implementation of parallel algorithm. So we need to use existing parallel computing devices, software resources and parallel analysis technique to meet these challenges and to solve these problems.Therefore, this paper studied parallel SAR image change detection deeply and systematically. In order to validate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we verify the algorithm on many heterogeneous accelerating devices. Then we use Qt encapsulated into software system. The primary work of this article is as follows:1) In this paper, SAR image change detection based on Fast Global K-Means(FGKM)algorithm is introduced and the results show this algorithm can get good performance.On account of the time-consuming of FGKM algorithm, so in this paper SAR image change detection based on Parallel Fast Global K-Means(P-FGKM) algorithm is proposed. Due to the portability of Open CL, so we validate the proposed algorithm on heterogeneous accelerating devices, such as multi-core CPU, single-GPU(Graphics Processing Unit), multi-GPU and other devices. Finally, we analyze the experiment results.2) In order to compare the difference between the parallel algorithm based on Open CL framework and Open MP(Open Multi-Processing) framework, we study parallel SAR image change detection based on Open MP framework and test the algorithm on multi-core CPU and MIC(Many Integrated Core). Finally, we analyze the experiment results. In addition, the design and implementation of parallel SAR image change detection system software is proceeded in this paper. Then the change detection is encapsulated by the use of Qt. Related work is the design and layout of the UI interface,the connection of the signal/slot and other issues. And Finally form a software interface.Users can easily use this software for parallel Remote Sensing SAR image change detection.
