Hypersonic Vehicle(HSV) becomes an important possibility in the development of worldwide aerospace and has extraordinarily attractive application prospects. Target detection with hypersonic platform airborne radar will face great challenge because of the new platform. The performance of existing target detection methods would drop, even have the possibility of invalidation. Therefore, it is of great significance to research into radar target detection with hypersonic vehicle. At present, hypersonic vehicle is still under test, so it’s hard for us to study directly on HSV platform. In order to simulate and demonstrate the methods of radar signal processing, it is necessary to develop Signal Processing Simulation System for Hypersonic Vehicle-borne Radar.1. This paper introduces the whole scheme of Signal Processing Simulation System for Hypersonic Vehicle-borne Radar. The tasks of this system includes signal environment simulation of HSV-R, simulation of HSV-R signal processing process, providing easy manipulation for users and providing ways for maintenance and expansibility. The thought of design is made in order to accomplish the tasks of this system. The divide of function modules are demonstration index, echo simulation of HSV-R and signal processing of HSV-R. At last, the connection between function modules is introduced.2. Parallel computing for this simulation system have been studied. In order to save the problem that the speed of this system is slow, this paper analyses the clutter model of Hypersonic Vehicle-borne Radar. Then, a research on parallel programming is introduced, includes CPU programming and GPU programming. In this paper, we contrast these two different ways. CPU programming part has parfor and MDCS two ways. In GPU programming part, clutter simulation of HSV-R with GPU is introduced.3. Develop environment and key techniques of Signal Processing System for Hypersonic Vehicle-borne Radar are introduced in detail. The key techniques include the design of dynamic linked library, data visualization, the design of public data class, the ways of data pass and the ways of path index. This system consists of 9 function modules, like system entry, main interface, flight orbit demonstration, echo simulation, characteristics analysis of clutter, detection and track of high-speed target in space,detection and orientation of target on the ground, Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging of ground and user setting.
