With the rapid development of computer technology and the continuing improvement of the taste of people at home, smart home has drawn more and more people’s attention. Smart home security based on smart home video surveillance is a hot spot in research, and has good prospects and practical value with smart home remote video surveillance system. Video surveillance has played an important role in the security of the smart home.The major features of smart home video surveillance system are as follows: real-time transmission of data: with the rapid development of network technology, the real-time transmission of Ethernet data ensures the users’ remote viewing. Intelligence: intelligent smart home video surveillance system is different in the image processing technology and video technology combination to automatically detect intrusion processed video image and automatically formed alarm.Cost minimization:Traditional video surveillance system uses the wired analog signals, equipment costs are relatively high, the continuous development of electronic technology reduces electronic components costs.Smart home video surveillance system designation uses the embedded Linux system as a platform and the Cortex-A8-based system based on next-generation ARMv7 as the main chip.Conbining the embedded technology, network transmission technology and digital image processing technology, form a smart home video surveillance system through the integration of technology. The video system of the designation is based on the ARM architecture, the introduction of the target image processing section intrusion detection module enables smart home not only realize the remote real-time monitoring but also detect intrusion to form automatically.The smart home video surveillance system of this designation is built in the embedded development environment, combining embedded Linux system and ARM development boards and using a common ZC0301 camera, change and migrate the drive of camera in embedded environment. Carried out the kernel for embedded Linux system configuration, build mjpg webcam, display alarm conditions by Boa web server and through the CGI program. Use home computer as the target machine, to save the cameraimage acquisition and intrusion detection, in the module of target intrusion detection, in the image obtained by the camera system, using improved optimization of inter-block difference to process and analyze the image. A better, intelligent and easy to use smart home monitoring system is achieved.
