| Library is an important part of university and college. It is one of the three pillars of higher education and also takes the responsibility of teaching and scientific research in colleges and universities. It is known as the heart of the college, the second classroom at school. In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology and the popularity of the network, the status of library is improving, facing with enormous challenges at the same time. For a long time, due to internal management confusion and weakness of executive force factors, such as management system, which cause lower library work efficiency, lower service ways and staff enthusiasm, the library becomes more and more difficult to meet the increasingly needs of readers’high standard and diversification. The traditional management system, operation mechanism and service mode are Challenged and impacted in this rapid development situation and the increasingly fierce information marketing environment. Therefore, college libraries need to introduce new management system to adapt to the demands of the new situation development, changing the old management methods and service mode, improving the utilization rate of collection and service quality, enhancing the reader’s satisfaction.With target management theory as the basis, this study takes Guangxi College for Preschool Education as an example to analyze the current status of higher school library readers’demand, put forward the target management of library based on the needs of the readers. Through the establishment of the library’s target management evaluation system, it stimulates staff creativeness and working enthusiasm, improve the utilization rate of collection resources, and promote its service level. Readers will find everything they need. Therefore, it maximizes the diversification, multi-level needs of teachers and students in literature information resources. |
